The Challenges Involved
Out of all the brands and companies surveyed, 63% utilized video for the past five years on their content marketing promotions. Meanwhile, 32% only started using video in the past two years. Online video has been used for communication in businesses throughout several years. However, 32% of respondents confirm there were challenges involved.
Nearly 44% of the respondents said measuring the video’s ROI was the main factor. Around 37% lacked video marketing skills in-house, while 17% were having trouble coming up with creative ideas.
Businesses utilize videos differently, but around 80% use it to increase brand engagement and awareness. The rest use video content to promote products and services (65%), heighten SEO results and website traffic (61%), and produce new sales leads (57%).
